We are currently seeking a Presales leader who excels at resolving intricate customer challenges and successfully closing substantial deals. In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with our sales and practice team to comprehend our customers’ needs, devise strategies for navigating the sales process effectively, deliver persuasive value-based demonstrations, support enterprise proof of Concepts, craft proposals, and ultimately secure new business
Primary Roles & Responsibilities:
- Own the customer proposals and presentations in response to client requests for data engineering
services. - Expertise in proposal management, encompassing RFP, RFI, and RFQ processes.
- Spearheaded Kasmo’s technical sales initiatives, establishing champions and earning the trust of
prospective customers. - Proficiency in architecture, design, and consulting services, with a focus on enterprise solutions, data
- analytics platforms, data lakes, data engineering, data processing, data warehousing, ETL, Hadoop, and Big Data.
- Demonstrated experience in defining and designing data governance, data management, and data
security solutions for enterprises spanning various business sectors. - Should have a good understanding of modern technology platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Redshift, etc.
- Proficiency with at least one of the three major cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Deep understanding of market trends, technological insights, and competitive intelligence.
- Develop use case demonstrations and proofs of concept in collaboration with the sales team,
customers, and Impetus implementation teams. - Establish thought leadership through presentations at conferences, summits, events, written content, user group presentations, and active involvement in the community.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer to delivery teams to ensure a seamless transition from presales to project delivery.
- Cultivate robust relationships with prospects and customers across all organizational levels, from
Executives to Technical Managers to Business Intelligence users.
Requirements:
- 7-8 years of industry experience, including a minimum of 4 years in a presales role.
Exceptional presentation skills suitable for both technical and executive audiences, whether
impromptu on a whiteboard or through presentations and demonstrations. - Extensive experience with large-scale Database and/or Data Warehouse technologies, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies.
- Ability to align customer-specific business challenges with Snowflake’s solutions.
- Experience in crafting proposals and Statements of Work (SOW).
- A university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields is preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Global System Integrators (GSIs) like Cognizant, TCS, EY, Deloitte, Accenture, etc., would be advantageous but is not mandatory.
