Description

We are looking for an engineer who is proficient and has an advanced skillset in PowerBI
data visualization and dashboard development on PowerBI. 
·      Data Preparation and Modeling:
Preparing, cleaning, and transforming data into a format suitable for analysis and visualization. This includes understanding data sources and using Power Query to connect to and manipulate data. 
·      Report and Dashboard Development:
Creating interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards using Power BI's features, including visualizations, filters, and slicers. 
·      Data Modeling:
Designing and implementing data models, including relationships, calculated columns, and measures, to ensure data accuracy and consistency. 
·      DAX (Data Analysis Expressions):
Using DAX to write custom calculations and measures to perform in-depth analysis and create dynamic visualizations. 
·      Testing and Troubleshooting:
Conducting unit testing and troubleshooting to ensure the reports and dashboards function as intended and provide accurate data. 
·      Documentation:
Creating documentation for the data, models, and reports, including parameters, algorithms, and models. 
·      Collaboration:
Collaborating with business stakeholders to identify business requirements and working with data engineers to acquire and prepare data. 
·      Security:
Managing and securing Power BI, including access control and data governance. 
Skills and Knowledge:
Power BI: Proficiency in using Power BI's features for data visualization, report creation, and dashboard development. 
Data Modeling: Understanding data modeling concepts, including star schema and data relationships. 
SQL: Ability to work with SQL databases and query data. 
DAX (Data Analysis Expressions): Proficiency in DAX for creating custom calculations and measures. 
Data Analysis: Understanding of data analysis techniques and tools. 
Cloud Technologies: Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure and AWS, as Power BI often integrates with these platforms. 
Automation: Familiarity with automation tools and techniques, such as SSIS or DBT, for automating data pipelines and processes. 
Business Analysis: Understanding of business requirements and how data can be used to support decision-making. 
Communication: Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
