Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Lake and Databricks.
- Create and manage data models and visualizations in Power BI to support business decision-making.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to ensure efficient data access and performance.
- Implement data governance and security best practices to protect sensitive information.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure data quality and reliability.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies in data engineering and analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and streamline business processes.
- Provide training and support to end-users on PowerBI and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI, including creating dashboards, reports, and data models.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Lake and Databricks for data processing and storage.
- Proficiency in SQL and other data querying languages.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor junior team members
