Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Development
Lead end-to-end design, configuration, customization, and deployment of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions.
Build and manage model-driven apps, canvas apps, Power Automate flows, and Dataverse integrations.
Develop and implement forms, views, plug-ins, workflows, and reusable solution components.
Create custom connectors, Azure Functions, and API integrations to extend platform functionality.
Governance & Standards
Define and refine governance processes for Power Platform and Dynamics 365 within the Commonwealth.
Ensure compliance with VITA standards, IT policies, and enterprise architecture requirements.
Provide guidance on Microsoft licensing models for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
Collaboration & Support
Function as the lead liaison between VITA and customer agencies for Dynamics 365/Power Platform issues.
Aid in requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and development of mockups/prototypes.
Deliver technical documentation, best practices, and recommendations for platform usage.
Support issue resolution, troubleshooting, and remediation of technical challenges.
Integration & Delivery
Assist agencies in identifying the most efficient technology solutions (Dynamics 365, Power Apps, Power Automate, etc.).
Implement DevOps practices for solution management, leveraging Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Support data migration efforts and enforce role-based security configurations.
Required Skills & Experience
Lead Developer Experience with Power Platform/Dynamics 365 (5+ years).
Dynamics 365 CRM – Customer Service: solution management, customization, and implementation (8+ years).
Hands-on experience with forms, views, plug-ins, workflows (8+ years).
Extensive expertise with model-driven apps, canvas apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse (5+ years).
Proficiency with PowerApps and Power Automate connectors (5+ years).
Experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 services (3+ years).
Prior experience working in a Microsoft GCC tenant (3+ years).
Strong knowledge of customization, configuration, deployment, and usage of Dynamics 365 solutions.
Experience with DevOps in Power Platform/D365 environments (highly desired, 2+ years).
Familiarity with Commonwealth of Virginia IT policies, governance, and enterprise architecture standards (desired, 2+ years).
Previous experience with Virginia state agencies (desired, 3+ years)
