Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Power BI Specialist with 1-2 years of experience to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate should have expertise in data visualization, dashboard creation, and report development using Power BI. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights, improving decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, design, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into data models and reports.
  • Connect to various data sources (SQL, Excel, APIs, etc.) and transform raw data into meaningful insights.
  • Optimize Power BI reports for performance and scalability.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security within Power BI solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions.
  • Write DAX queries and create calculated columns and measures.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to data models, reports, and dashboards.
  • Stay updated with Power BI best practices, new features, and industry trends.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Power BI (Report/Dashboard creation, Data Modelling, Power Query, DAX).
  • Strong knowledge of SQL for data extraction and transformation.
  • Experience working with Excel, CSV, APIs, and other data sources.
  • Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
  • Knowledge of Power Automate and Power Apps (preferred but not mandatory).

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)

  • Microsoft Power BI Certification.
  • Experience working in the telecom, IT, or analytics domain.
  • Exposure to Python, or R for advanced analytics.
