Job Description:

Role: BI/Data Engineer Mode: Hybrid. Candidate needs to go to office when required for meetings or events. Shift: Afternoon Shift (3 PM to 11 PM) Skill set: SQL, Power BI, Good Analytical skills, logical reasoning, Good Communication (Python/Salesforce - Good to have) ---------------------------------------------------

Position Overview: We are looking for a talented BI/Data engineer who will play an integral role in the technical analysis, quality analysis and development of critical sales tools and business workflow leveraging data for decision making. He/she should be good in SQL knowledge as this role will require thorough analysis and data validation skills. This role involves driving sales team productivity through creating future state best practices for business/data analytics. 

Responsibilities: -

Doing good analytics and development using Power BI -

Analyze and transform data/Big data as required -

Explore and analyze any and all available data for project initiatives and impacts -

Write complex SQL queries to analyze, test and validate data -

Evaluate data systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, developing and maintaining protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data -

Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with data quality engineer if necessary -

Work with stakeholders and understand functional requirements and convert them to technical requirements. -

Provide source-to-target mappings and information-model specification documents for data sets -

Providing technical expertise on data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing -

Analyze and solve problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context -

Work closely with project team to understand and establish business needs -

Defining new data collection and analysis processes -

Hands-on involvement in the design, development and implementation of optimal, scalable AWS solutions -

Perform ad hoc statistical and data mining analysis -

Manage on-site & offshore communication, converts requirements into technical tasks for the development team -

Document technical design specifications explaining how business and functional requirements are met -

Work with cross functional teams to understand the data extracted from different applications 

Minimum Qualifications: - BS or MS in Comp. Science, Engineering, Physics, Math, Statistics etc. - 5+ years with relevant experience required - Advanced working SQL and No-SQL knowledge and experience working with relational Databases (SQL/ORACLE/MySQL etc) - Independent problem-solving skills and statistical analysis techniques required. - Excellent in Integration and functional testing. - Experience with Python or Java. - Knowledge on using data analysis tools. - Knowledge in Salesforce, SAP is good to have. - Snowflake/Redshift experience is a plus - Strong verbal and written communication skills
