Power BI Lead

Key Skills: Power BI, SQL, DAX, Data Modeling, SSRS, Paginated Reports, Data Warehouse, Functional Domain Expertise, Power BI Administration.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze reporting requirements from stakeholders.
• Design and develop Power BI dashboards with efficient data models.
• Write complex and dynamic DAX formulas.
• Optimize performance of Power BI reports and datasets.
• Implement row-level security and manage user access.
• Administer Power BI workspace and report deployments.
• Develop SSRS or Paginated Reports as needed.
• Align development with data warehouse concepts and best practices.
• Handle end-to-end project responsibilities--from requirement gathering to production migration.
• Support UAT, perform sanity testing, and provide production support.
• Collaborate across functional teams (Finance, Sales, Inventory, Procurement, CRM, etc.).
• Independently manage project delivery and client communication.

Experience Requirement:

• 6-10 years of experience with a strong focus on Power BI development.
• At least 5 years of experience in creating Power BI solutions end to end.
• Strong SQL expertise.
• Experience with Power BI administration and report publishing.
• Good knowledge of SSRS or Paginated Reports.
• Solid grasp of data warehouse and ETL concepts.
• Functional understanding across various business domains.
• Proven ability to work independently and drive projects.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
