Power BI Developer/Modeler

Job Description

Must-have skills: At least 3-5 years of experience in Power BI development and data modeling; data warehousing concepts and SQL; DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and M Query; data warehousing concepts and SQL; Knowledge of ETL processes and tools
PREFERRED:  energy exp; Azure

Requirements:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Juno Beach, FL (required);
• Experience in Power BI development and data modeling.(3-5 years)
• Strong proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and M Query.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and SQL.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and tools.
• Experience with Power BI Paginated Reports and/or Power BI Interactive Reports
• Experience with Power BI Incremental Refresh
• Experience with Power BI Semantic Model (Dataset)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.

Preferred:
• Experience in the energy sector or with utility companies.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services.
• Certification in Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst is a plus.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Develop, design, and deploy intuitive and visually appealing Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Implement data models and schemas that support business intelligence requirements.
• Conduct data analysis and present findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Optimize the performance of Power BI reports and utilize Incremental Refresh
• Stay up-to-date with the latest features and best practices in Power BI.
• Provide end-user training and support as needed.
