Power BI Developer with Power On

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Power BI: Dashboard creation, data visualization, and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).

SQL Expertise: Writing optimized queries for data extraction from Snowflake.

Experience in data modeling: Star schema, snowflake schema, and dimensional modeling.

Integration with Snowflake:

Setting up connections between Power BI and Snowflake.

Using Direct Query and Import Mode with Snowflake.

Knowledge of ETL/ELT Processes: Data preparation, transformation, and data loading into Snowflake.

Understanding of Snowflake’s features: Virtual warehouses, time travel, data sharing, and query optimization.

Proficiency in Power On (specific to Power On for Planning or reporting needs).

Integration with Snowflake:

Configuring and managing Snowflake connectors within Power On.

Familiarity with scripting languages like Python (optional but valuable).

Performance tuning: Optimizing reports and dashboards for speed and usability.

The position is very heavily rated around visualization with Power on and Power BI. Because the work is with doing all the write backs to Power on and Power App that they need to be more than just understanding it. Heavy Cloud Data Source experience which is extensive Snowflake and integration power BI. Knowling the Power On capabilities and limitations hands on. Strong implementation experience with Power on and able to walk the client through their implementation
