Description

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test and implement operational/Analytics reports, scorecards, benchmarks and executive level dashboards using BI Technologies (Tableau, MicroStrategy, Microsoft Power BI).
  • Develop and deploy state of the art visualizations and dashboards using BI Technologies.
  • Create visualizations and reports for requested projects.
  • Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation.
  • Develop and update technical documentation.
  • Own the design and maintenance of ongoing performance metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions.
  • Come up with efficient front end and robust visualizations to better explain the data analyses.

Required Skills

  • Excellent knowledge on Power BI data modelling and Power Query concepts.
  • Expert in publishing reports to Power BI service and setting up the necessary connection details and scheduling.
  • Expertise in database design & development & SQL on Oracle, SQL Server is a plus.
  • Understanding of Power BI Embedding concepts.
  • Excellent knowledge connecting Microsoft Power BI Desktop to various data sources.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to work individually .

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of documented experience as a BI developer in both data warehouse and BI technologies.
  • Experience in Data Gateway for data refreshing, content Pack Library.
  • Experience on writing queries, procedures and views in SQL.
  • Experience in Managing Embed Codes.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
