Description

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards
  • Connect Power BI to various data sources including SQL databases, Excel, APIs, and cloud platforms
  • Create data models , DAX formulas , and measures for performance-optimized reports
  • Understand business requirements and translate them into technical specs
  • Automate report refreshes, implement row-level security, and maintain data accuracy
  • Collaborate with stakeholders for UAT, feedback, and enhancements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve reporting/data issues in a timely manner 


     

Required Skills:

 

  • 3–6 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development
  • Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M Language), and data modeling
  • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and working with RDBMS (MS SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)
  • Experience working with Excel, CSV, and cloud-based data sources (Azure, AWS, etc.)
  • Familiarity with data visualization best practices
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills 


     

Preferred Skills

 

  • Knowledge of Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate)
  • Exposure to ETL tools (SSIS, Informatica, Talend)
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Basic understanding of Python/R for data analysis is a plus
  • Working knowledge of Azure Data Lake , Synapse Analytics , or Data Factory
