  • Exceptional SQL skills
    • Expertise in Windowed functions
    • Performance tuning.
    • Has direct experience building and troubleshooting complex views and stored procedures.
    • Understands the difference between CTEs, temp tables, variable tables and the appropriate time to use them.
    • Has created SQL tables and know the nuances of indexing practices.
    • Has worked in a Datawarehouse environment before leveraging type 2 SLD.
  • Advanced knowledge of Power BI
    • Data modeling techniques
    • Report performance optimization best practices
    • Visualization design
    • Power Query
    • DAX
    • Has extensive experience working in the Power BI service
    • Has administered power BI workspaces, pushing from dev->test->prod and updating associated apps.
    • Understands Power BI Deployment pipelines
    • Experience with Power BI GIT workspace integration
  • Communication Skills - Will need to work directly with the business and IT Leadership.
    • Needs to speak clearly and concisely.
    • Will be managing relationships with stakeholders in the business.
    • Will need to be prompt following up with support incidents
