Power BI Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Developer with expertise in Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and AWS DB to design, develop, and maintain BI solutions. The ideal candidate will leverage data visualization tools to create operational reports, build automated dashboards, and provide actionable insights for business decision-making. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing interactive reports, managing data pipelines, and optimizing database performance.
 

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Develop and maintain operational reports and automated dashboards using Power BI and Tableau.
   
• Understand business requirements and define functional specifications for reporting applications.
   
• Design and implement data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights.
   
• Perform data analysis, define KPIs, and track business performance metrics.
   
• Construct data warehouses and optimize database performance through efficient SQL queries (MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL).
   
• Leverage AWS Data Services including Amazon Redshift, RDS, Athena, and S3 for BI applications.
   
• Utilize AWS Quick Sight and integrate serverless analytics with third-party BI tools.
   
• Implement automation & cost optimization solutions using AWS Lambda and Step Functions.
   
• Create interactive filters, parameters, and calculations to enhance data visualization in Power BI and Tableau.
   
• Ensure smooth data gateway configuration, troubleshooting, and technical enhancements for BI systems.
   
• Develop and execute DAX queries, MDX, and Power Query to enhance reporting capabilities.
   
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business needs into technical specifications.
   
• Prepare detailed documentation explaining algorithms, parameters, models, and relationships.
   
• Publish and maintain interactive dashboards on Tableau Server while ensuring data accuracy.
   

Required Skills & Qualifications:
 

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Business Intelligence.
   
• Experience working with AWS DB and AWS Data Services (Redshift, RDS, Athena, S3) is mandatory.
   
• Expertise in Power BI and Tableau for dashboard creation, report development, and troubleshooting.
   
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL) and query optimization.
   
• Hands-on experience in data modeling, relational/multidimensional database design.
   
• Proficiency in DAX, MDX, Power Query, and SQL scripting for deep data analysis.
   
• Knowledge of LOD functions in Tableau and ability to create calculated fields.
   
• Ability to work cross-functionally with business stakeholders and technical teams.
   
• Excellent verbal communication and documentation skills.
   
• Experience in dataflows creation, data visualization best practices, and data warehouse construction
