Role & Responsibilities

  1. Designing, developing, and deploying interactive Power BI dashboards tailored to operational use cases from enterprise data warehouse solutions.
  2. Collaborating with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations.
  3. Integrating data from various sources including SQL databases, Excel, SharePoint, and APIs.
  4. Optimizing dashboard performance and usability for frontline and management users.
  5. Providing documentation and knowledge transfer to internal staff as needed.
  6. Supporting ad-hoc dashboard requests and troubleshooting issues in existing reports.
  7. Developing and testing requirements supporting the migration of datasets and creation of analytics use cases to a data lake such as Microsoft Fabric (preferred).

 

Experience

  1. At least 5 years of experience in Power BI development, preferably in an operational or enterprise environment.
  2. Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
  3. Experience working with large datasets and real-time data sources.
  4. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  5. Familiarity with airport operations or transportation/logistics environments is a plus
