  • Certify and standardize database infrastructure to meet performance and reliability standards.
  • Continuously monitor and stay updated with emerging database technologies and trends.
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance PostgreSQL systems.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in PostgreSQL internals and architecture.
  • Leverage expert knowledge of C, Bison, Flex, CVS, Autotools, and Meson to improve system functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and debug PostgreSQL code to resolve issues and optimize performance.
  • Drive enhancements to the PostgreSQL Community Edition, ensuring improvements align with customer needs.
  • Respond to and execute enhancement requests for PostgreSQL CE (Community Edition).
  • Act as an SME for critical event troubleshooting, providing solutions to high-impact incidents.
  • Define and implement best practices tailored to the AT&T environment.
  • Conduct testing and benchmarking to validate system performance and stability.
  • Actively engage in PostgreSQL community forums, providing support and sharing knowledge.
  • Lead community initiatives and mentor colleagues, promoting technical growth and collaboration.
