PostgreSQL Database Administrator

We need a PostgreSQL DBA to optimize, secure, and scale a multi-tenant database with row-level security (RLS). You'll design schemas for auditability, work with developers on data access policies, and ensure DB uptime and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and optimize PostgreSQL databases
• Implement row-level and policy-based access control
• Monitor performance and query health
• Manage DB backup/recovery and high availability
• Automate schema migrations with tools like Flyway or Liquibase
• Work closely with app developers on data layer needs

Requirements:

• 5+ years with PostgreSQL in production
• Strong in SQL, RLS, indexing, query plans
• Experience in cloud-hosted environments (AWS RDS)
• Comfortable with CI/CD and schema versioning tools
• Bonus: exposure to Kafka, OpenSearch
