POS QA Tester

Responsibilities

• Consistently delivers day-to-day assignments with a high level of quality and attention to detail.
• Independently develops key deliverables and publishes without supervisor review.
• Proactively applies a systematic approach to data gathering and analysis to make key decisions that are supported by facts.
• Resource should have knowledge of software QA processes, methodologies, and statistical analysis.
• Lead in creation of Test Strategy and Test Plan.
• Participate in Sprint planning and Agile ceremonies.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of common Systems Development Lifecycle methodologies, including Waterfall and iterative approaches like Agile / Scrum.
• Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills with IT audiences.
• Excels at working in a project environment and on cross-functional teams.
• Extensive API Testing knowledge using Postman and Swagger.
• Working Knowledge on JSON and XML messaging.

Required Experience

• Experience with test management tools like HP Quality Center / ALM is required.
• Strong experience in handling large scale Agile projects.
• Strong experience in JIRA as a Test Lead in Sprint planning, Backlog refinement, grooming and Scrum management.
• Devops with Gitlab/Jenkins CI/CD experience required.
• Experience in X-Ray Test Management Tool preferred along with similar tools like ALM and Qtest.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
