Job Description/Responsibilities:
Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PMP Certified Project Manager for a long term contract position. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of project management experience, preferably in the technology, software, or IT industry. As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in planning, executing, and closing projects efficiently while ensuring the highest quality deliverables.
Responsibilities:
Lead the planning and execution of projects from initiation to closure.
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to track progress and report on project status.
Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues; develop and execute mitigation plans.
Monitor and communicate project progress, including key milestones and deliverables, to all stakeholders.
Manage project resources, including team members, third-party contractors, and consultants.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget while meeting quality standards.
Foster a collaborative and productive working relationship with cross-functional teams.
Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices and process enhancements.
Prepare and deliver project documentation, status reports, and presentations as required.
Required Skills and Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (or equivalent work experience).
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required.
Minimum of 10 years of project management experience, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
