Experience:

 

5+ years of experience in test automation, with a strong focus on Playwright, Node.js, and backend API testing.
Proven expertise in creating and maintaining complex automation frameworks that deliver scalable, reliable, and high-performance solutions.
Technical Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and backend automation.
Expertise in frameworks like Mocha, Chai, or Jest for API testing.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, RESTful APIs, and microservices architectures.
Experience with Git and containerization tools like Docker is a plus!


Key Responsibilities:

 

Lead Test Automation:

 

Drive the design and development of comprehensive, end-to-end automated testing frameworks using Playwright for modern web applications across multiple browsers.
Build and maintain scalable backend automation frameworks for Node.js services, ensuring seamless integration between frontend and backend systems.
Create automated test suites that cover functional, non-functional, and performance testing requirements—ensuring that our applications deliver the best user experiences.
Full-Stack & API Testing:
Automate cross-browser tests and validate Node.js APIs and microservices to ensure data integrity and reliability across all layers of the application.
Lead the charge in developing comprehensive test scripts for RESTful APIs, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.


CI/CD & Agile Integration:

 

Seamlessly integrate your test automation solutions into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI, ensuring continuous testing and rapid feedback during development cycles.
Implement robust test reporting and dashboards, giving clear visibility to stakeholders and ensuring quick resolution of any issues.
Mentorship & Innovation:
Mentor junior QA engineers and share your expertise in test automation and best practices. Help shape the future of test automation within the organization.
Continuously explore new testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies to improve efficiency, accuracy, and speed across our automation processes.
