Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant – Job Description

 

Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Marketing Cloud.
  • Knowledge of MC Connect (to CRM, DC, MCI, etc)
  • Configure custom build advanced MC web forms (including utm settings, dynamic content, CRM lookup, CRM updates, etc)
  • Advanced knowledge of AMPscript
  • Understanding of and ability to write SSJS, JavaScript
  • Practical knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Build & configure automations for data processing and data import, including data lookup and updates to CRM
  • Build & configure customer Journeys
  • Manage requests for complex journey optimizations
  • Build and test advanced features included in customer journeys, web forms, data integrations
  • Code review and testing (both SIT and UAT)

Soft Skills

  • Engage with client to derive requirements and consult client on best practices
  • Inspire and train client on the digital transformation and capabilities of the Salesforce CRM/Marketing Cloud/Data Cloud eco-system.
  • Cooperate with client marketing managers on daily bases to support adoption
  • Provides constant consultations and trainings for campaign managers.

Cross platform skills

  • Overview of CRM data and understanding of Salesforce CRM platform in general to guide client
  • Understanding of Lead Management, Consent Management and Customer 360-view incl. data points for personalization (segmentation, grading, classification, profiling etc.).
  • Segment creation in Data Cloud
