PHP Senior Developer

CRITICAL KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Experience in team-development of data-driven Web Applications utilizing PHP/Python.
Ability to develop high-quality code, expert at solving complex problems, and advise on design issues.
Experience in investigating, analyzing, designing, developing, and evaluating procedures and requirements for enterprise's IT systems.
Knowledge and understanding Redhat Linux Operating Systems as well as Oracle Databases from the perspective of application support.
Ability to write bash scripts to automate tasks in Linux.
RELATED SKILLS NEEDED:

Experience working with network administrators, server administrators, and security / firewall administrators to troubleshoot application issues.
Knowledge of web application security considerations.
Experience working in a high security environment housing sensitive data.
DESIRABLE SKILLS:

Experience and knowledge of working with PCI regulations.
Knowledge of ColdFusion.
Experience with JIRA and working in either KANBAN or SCRUM teams.
Experience with Financial Application Development and/or Payment Processing.
Experience deploying applications in AWS.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related field (or combined with related experience)
• Knowledge of SEO coding best practices is a plus
• Experience in web application development with minimum 2+ years' experience Drupal programming experience
• Knowledge and/or advanced level PHP5, MySQL and HTML/CSS/AJAX/ JavaScript Knowledge and/or advanced experience with Drupal architecture, best practices, and coding standards
• Experience with object-oriented design and data modeling
• Familiarity with user experience design principles and processes
• Experience with third-party applications/tools and integration
• Knowledge of web application security considerations
• Working knowledge of Web servers (Apache, IIS)
• Experience with source/version control systems
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills and strong time management and analytical/problem solving abilities. Experience with Java or C/C++ desired
• Social media or user generated content experience highly desired
