Responsible for entire projects or processes spanning multiple technical areas.
Manage large projects or processes with moderate impact on the achievement of sub-family results.
Develop solutions to complex technical issues and problems that impact multiple area or disciplines.
Make recommendations for approaches to development on new items or resolutions to issues. Discusses proposed solutions with user depts.
Prepare reports outlining the proposed systems or resolutions.
Design, develop, test, analyze and implement solutions to meet business needs and objectives.
Investigate operational or systematic problems and provides resolution using analytical skills and tools as necessary.
Work with vendor(s) to troubleshoot issues.
Ensure that programs and projects are designed to support and implement the Firm’s goals and strategic objectives.
Ensure quality standards are met.
Coordinate regular meetings with key user group to review work intake items, discuss priorities, and review status.
Required Skills
Demonstrated knowledge of Application Designer, PeopleCode, People Tools; Workflow, Application Engine, Component Interface, Integration Broker, Application Messaging, Application Packaging, XML Publisher and PeopleSoft Security.
Intermediate level knowledge of SQL and a programming language (i.e. PeopleCode, Java, .Net, C+, etc).
Understanding of the development life cycle.
Good understanding of business knowledge.
Ability to solicit input from internal and external sources, including the ability to investigate and incorporate best practices from other experiences and sound judgment.
Know when to seek management input or escalate issues based on impact.
Required Experience
PeopleSoft Developer with 1-2 years of .Net experience.
A minimum of two years of Oracle/PeopleSoft Development experience.
Experience working with Oracle/PeopleSoft HCM version 9.1 or higher Federal products.
Experience working with PeopleSoft Integration Broker in relation to web services.
Experience with PeopleSoft Contracts and Grants (C&G) module.
Experience working with PeopleTools version 8.50 or higher.
Experience in Integration of PeopleSoft and Thirdparty applications.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
