Pega Developer

Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Pega Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Pega development, with hands-on experience in system design and integration. The candidate must be able to apply both technical expertise and business knowledge to deliver high-quality solutions, ensuring compliance with Pega Guardrails and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement solutions in Pega, adhering to Pega Guardrails and best practices.
• Work with business analysts and other stakeholders to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform low-level design (LLD) and configuration of Pega rules.
• Develop integrations using SOAP and other protocols.
• Participate in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of systems and data flows.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to Pega standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and development environments.
• Continuously improve development processes and solutions to meet evolving business needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification is a must.
• 4+ years of experience in Pega development with a deep understanding of Pega platform features and capabilities.
• Solid experience with integrations, including SOAP and other web services.
• Strong knowledge of XML, Java, and SQL.
• Proven ability to work in an Agile environment.
• Hands-on experience with Pega Guardrails to ensure compliance with Pega best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Pega application upgrades and patches.
• Knowledge of other integration protocols like REST, JMS, etc.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
