PCB Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and layout multi-layer PCBs using industry-standard design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence, Eagle, etc.).
• Create schematic diagrams, board layouts, and ensure designs meet electrical and mechanical specifications.
• Perform design rule checks (DRC), electrical rule checks (ERC), and signal integrity analysis.
• Work closely with electrical engineers to integrate components and ensure design accuracy.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers to ensure PCB designs are compatible with enclosures and other mechanical aspects of the product.
• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on design feasibility, manufacturability, and cost optimization.
• Generate and review documentation such as Bill of Materials (BOM), Gerber files, and assembly drawings.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
• Troubleshoot design issues during prototype builds and testing.
• Support the transition of designs from prototype to mass production.
