Key Responsibilities

 

  • Support attorneys in all phases of litigation related to wrongful termination and employment disputes
  • Conduct legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other databases
  • Draft, edit, and organize pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial materials
  • Maintain case calendars, deadlines, filings, and court schedules
  • Facilitate communication with clients, experts, witnesses, and opposing counsel
  • Prepare trial exhibits, case summaries, and courtroom materials
  • Assist with discovery, including document production and responses to interrogatories and admissions
  • Stay current on relevant employment law updates and procedural rules
  • Provide general case support and administrative assistance to attorneys
     

Qualifications
 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Paralegal Certificate preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of litigation experience, specifically in employment law/wrongful termination
  • Strong working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and court procedures
  • Proficiency in legal software and research platforms (e.g., Clio, Westlaw, LexisNexis)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively

Bachelor's degree
