OSS Architect

Job Description:

· Architectural Design and Strategy:

Design and implement scalable OSS solutions that support the network infrastructure.

Develop and refine architecture strategies to improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.

· System Integration:

Integrate OSS components with network management systems, provisioning systems, and other operational tools.

Ensure seamless interoperability between various systems and technologies.

· Operational Efficiency:

Develop and optimize processes for network monitoring, fault management, performance management, and service assurance.

Implement automation to streamline OSS workflows and reduce operational overhead.

· Technology Evaluation:

Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and best practices to enhance OSS capabilities.

Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to network operations and management.

· Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, software developers, and product managers, to align OSS solutions with business needs.

Communicate architectural decisions and strategies to stakeholders clearly and effectively.

· System Design and Documentation:

Create detailed architectural documentation, including design specifications, system diagrams, and integration plans.

Ensure documentation is kept up-to-date and accurately reflects the system architecture.

· Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.

Implement tuning and optimization techniques to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of OSS solutions.

· Compliance and Security:

Ensure OSS solutions comply with industry standards, regulations, and security best practices.

Implement security measures to protect operational data and systems.

· Troubleshooting and Support:

Provide expertise in troubleshooting complex OSS-related issues and support problem resolution.

Assist with incident management and root cause analysis for operational issues.
