Oracle Technical Architect

Responsibilities
Define and document end-to-end technical architecture specifying OCI configurations, OIC patterns, report designs (BIP/OTBI, SQL/PLSQL), data models, and security.
Establish and enforce architectural standards, security policies, and best practices for OCI, OIC, and Report development; lead architecture reviews for compliance and quality.
Design scalable and secure integration architectures using OIC and OCI services (e.g., API Gateway); define data architecture, flows, storage (OCI DBs/Storage), and reporting structures.
Provide architectural leadership and technical guidance to teams implementing OCI, OIC, and Reporting solutions; collaborate with stakeholders on technical design feasibility.
Research, evaluate, and prototype emerging OCI, OIC, and Reporting technologies; recommend adoption and contribute to the Oracle Cloud strategic technical roadmap.
Optimize cloud environments, focusing on performance, security, and cost-efficiency, while ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Assist clients with the configuration of Oracle Cloud services, ensuring that best practices for deployment and configuration are followed.
Train and mentor clients' teams to ensure they are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to manage Oracle Cloud environments effectively.
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Oracle Cloud technologies, continuously evaluating and integrating new features and functionalities to improve the client’s cloud infrastructure.
 

Qualifications
Possess deep technical expertise across OCI, OIC, Oracle Reporting (BIP, OTBI), and SQL/PLSQL, understanding architectural best practices for integrated Oracle Cloud solutions.
Lead the design and architecture of complex Oracle solutions spanning OCI, OIC, and Reporting (BIP/OTBI), defining integration/data strategies and technical governance.
Architect scalable, secure, performant, and resilient Oracle solutions using OCI native services and OIC capabilities, adhering to cloud-native and cost-optimization principles.
Provide technical leadership and strategic advice on OCI, OIC, and Reporting; create and present high-level architecture designs, blueprints, and technology roadmaps.
Continuously evaluate emerging OCI, OIC, Reporting, and related Oracle technologies; drive architectural innovation and guide technology selection for platform evolution.
Oracle Cloud Certifications such as OCI Architect, OCI Developer, or relevant ERP/Cloud certifications are highly desirable.
Agile/Scrum experience for managing cloud projects in a collaborative, iterative environment.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in Oracle Cloud environments.
Excellent communication and consulting skills, with the ability to engage with clients at various levels and communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
Advanced English proficiency, with the ability to work in global teams and manage client relationships across different regions.
