Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle RMCS+ Financials Cloud / PPM Consultant with a minimum of 3 years of implementation experience in Oracle RMCS (Revenue Management Cloud Service) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in implementing Oracle RMCS along with a strong understanding of integration with Oracle Financials Cloud and Project Portfolio Management (PPM). This role requires hands-on experience in implementing and optimizing revenue management processes within Oracle Cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Oracle RMCS (Revenue Management Cloud Service) Implementation:

  • Lead and support the implementation of Oracle RMCS, ensuring alignment with revenue recognition standards (ASC 606/IFRS 15) and business requirements.
  • Configure and customize RMCS to support revenue management processes, including contract management, revenue allocation, and recognition rules.
  • Integrate Oracle RMCS with Oracle Financials Cloud, ensuring seamless revenue data flow to the GL (General Ledger) and other related modules.

Oracle Financials Cloud Integration:

  • Work closely with the Financials Cloud team to integrate RMCS with Oracle Financials Cloud (General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, and Billing).
  • Configure RMCS to ensure accurate revenue recognition, billing, and accounting as per the company's financial and contractual requirements.
  • Assist with the mapping of data between RMCS and Financials Cloud modules, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of financial data.

Project Portfolio Management (PPM) Integration:

  • Implement Oracle PPM modules, working closely with the PPM team to integrate project financials, revenue recognition, and related processes with RMCS.
  • Ensure that project-related revenue is captured, recognized, and reported accurately within Oracle RMCS.
  • Provide support in configuring project financials, forecasting, and billing, ensuring smooth integration with RMCS and Financials Cloud.

Revenue Recognition and Compliance:

  • Configure and optimize revenue recognition rules and processes based on the ASC 606/IFRS 15 standards.
  • Assist in the development of custom reports and analytics to track revenue, deferred revenue, and recognized revenue.
  • Ensure compliance with revenue management regulations and best practices through system configurations and process enhancements.

Solution Design and Business Process Optimization:

  • Analyze business requirements and recommend Oracle RMCS solutions to optimize revenue management processes.
  • Work with stakeholders to design, configure, and implement customized revenue recognition workflows.
  • Perform gap analysis, troubleshoot, and resolve configuration issues to ensure that RMCS meets business needs.

Testing and Documentation:

  • Lead and perform functional testing of Oracle RMCS and integrated modules (Financials Cloud, PPM), ensuring that the solution meets business requirements.
  • Create detailed documentation, including configuration guides, test scripts, and training materials.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to end-users and internal teams on the RMCS system and processes.

Post-Implementation Support and Continuous Improvement:

  • Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and optimization of the Oracle RMCS solution.
  • Recommend improvements to streamline revenue management processes, enhance automation, and improve efficiency.
  • Monitor and maintain the performance of RMCS, ensuring that all revenue-related transactions and processes function smoothly.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on implementation experience with Oracle RMCS (Revenue Management Cloud Service).
  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles (ASC 606/IFRS 15) and their application in Oracle RMCS.
  • Solid experience with Oracle Financials Cloud (General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Billing) and integration with RMCS.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Project Portfolio Management (PPM) and its integration with RMCS and Financials Cloud.
  • Experience with configuring and customizing Oracle RMCS to meet business requirements, including revenue allocation and contract management.
  • Knowledge of financial accounting processes, billing, and revenue reporting within Oracle Cloud environments.
  • Ability to gather business requirements, perform gap analysis, and design solutions to meet business needs.
  • Experience in functional testing, user training, and documentation.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Oracle Cloud certifications in RMCS or Financials Cloud.
  • Experience working in global or multi-entity Oracle Cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of additional Oracle Cloud modules such as Order Management, Procurement, or Project Accounting.
  • Familiarity with Agile project methodologies and tools.
