Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Must-Have Skills
8+ years of experience in PL/SQL development, including expertise in data modeling, stored procedures, and triggers.
8+ years of experience in Python programming, with strong knowledge of libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, or other data manipulation tools.
8+ years of experience in Capital Markets, with a solid understanding of financial products, business processes, and data flows.
Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a strong plus.
Strong background in Oracle Database, SQL, ETL processes, data warehousing, or data architecture.
Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and modern development practices.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, optimize, and maintain PL/SQL scripts to support data processing requirements and ensure high data integrity within Capital Markets systems.
Utilize Python for data transformation, automation, and to build scalable data pipelines.
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, converting them into clear technical specifications.
Work with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions that support and enhance Capital Markets operations.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of coding standards and development workflows.
Stay updated on industry best practices in database development, programming, and Capital Markets trends.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience with PL/SQL development, including complex procedures and triggers.
Proficient in Python, including experience with key libraries like Pandas and NumPy.
Demonstrated experience in Capital Markets, with in-depth knowledge of financial systems and operations.
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is preferred.
Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Oracle Database, ETL tools, data warehousing, and/or data architecture.
Familiarity with Agile development practices and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
