Job Summary

As a valued member of the RMS Team, you will be responsible for analyzing, developing, implementing, testing and supporting Oracle Retail Applications (RMS, RPM, ReIM, ReSA, BIP). A successful candidate will be a strong team player who is able to work across functional areas and disciplines.

Job Requirements

Essential Requirements:
• Minimum of 7-9 years of software development/project related activities (i.e., Architect, design, develop, test and maintain enterprise applications).
• Ability to think outside the box in terms of software solutions for complex problems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Technical expertise in required languages, operating systems, databases, development tools, networking, and/or software packages.
• Participates in full lifecycle projects to understand business requirements and then completes the design, development, testing, implementation and production support.
• Translate functional specifications into technical specifications to provide low level details for development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with business and technology cross-functional teams
• Ability to determine feasibility of business requests, estimate time frames and resources needed, and assist Project Manager with project planning
• Participate in 24/7 on-call support activities

 

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL languages. Knowledge of Java a plus.
• Ability to administer and configure Oracle Retail Application (RMS, RPM, RIM, ReSA)
• Ability to administer and configure Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), including role-based security
• Demonstrate clear understanding of Oracle Architecture.
• Ability to perform batch and integration application performance tuning.
• Working knowledge of the C programming language for troubleshooting Pro*C batch issues
• Ability to program in the Oracle Forms/reports language.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence and Atlassian stack
• Ability to work in both Agile and Waterfall approaches
• Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, Linux
Preferred Requirements
• Ability to administer and configure Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) for batch Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) jobs a plus
• Ability to administer, configure and troubleshoot the Oracle Retail batch schedule via the Control-M scheduler, including job/thread restarts and parallel tuning a plus
