Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Job Summary:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Oracle PL/SQL Developer with expertise in SQL performance tuning, large data processing, and ETL tools. The role supports a large-scale modernization effort, transitioning from an internal ETL tool to Ab Initio. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in PL/SQL development, Python, Data Warehousing, Unix/Linux scripting, and Autosys scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize Oracle PL/SQL code for large-scale data processing.
• Perform SQL performance tuning to improve query efficiency, especially for large data loads.
• Work with ETL tools (Ab Initio preferred) to support data migration and transformation.
• Develop Python scripts for automation and integration.
• Utilize Unix/Linux shell scripting for system and job automation.
• Implement and manage Autosys job scheduling.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to support modernization efforts.
• Use GitHub for version control and Agile delivery methodologies.

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
• Strong expertise in SQL performance tuning and large data set processing.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools (Ab Initio preferred).
• 2+ years of Python programming experience.
• 4+ years of Unix/Linux shell scripting.
• 2+ years of experience with Autosys job scheduling.
• Agile development experience (Scrum, Agile delivery).

Preferred Skills:

• Financial institution experience.
• Experience in data warehouse environments.
