Analyze the existing Oracle DB schema and data structures used in the legacy WMS CatalystPro*Cbased.
Identify and document key data domains, entities, relationships, and ownership boundaries across warehouse functions inventory, order management, shipping, receiving, etc..
Collaborate with functional SMEs and engineering teams to map business functions to database modules tables.
Help define data modularization strategy and logical domain boundaries to support service decomposition.
Create data flow diagrams, ER models, and entity maps to support modernization planning.
Propose and validate data migration strategies from legacy systems to modern WMS platforms (GCP / Onprem).
Work with development and integration teams to support data integration planning and reconciliation checks.
Support identification of redundant, obsolete, or overlapping data structures.
Partner with solution architects to ensure clean separation of concerns in modular WMS architecture.
Required Skills
Experience:
8+ years of experience in data analysis or data modelling with strong expertise in Oracle DB (PL/SQL, schema design, data profiling).
Proven experience working in WMS or Supply Chain / Logistics systems.
Experience analyzing legacy monolith systems and supporting decomposition initiatives.
Familiarity with modern architecture principles: microservices, domain-driven design (DDD)
