Summary:

  • This position serves on a team of Oracle Cloud experts working on the implementation and post go-live support of the Benefits module within the Oracle Cloud software.
  • During the implementation product, this person will be responsible for the build and configuration of all Benefits plans (Medical, Pension, Retirement Plans, etc.).
  • Post go-live this position will provide post production support, assist with knowledge transfer activities and help ensure an overall smooth transition process to the software.
  • This role will also provide internal customers Human Resources Shared Services (HRSS) with the best possible solutions to utilize the system, roll out new functionality, identify potential process improvements, troubleshoot problems and provide user support.

Job description:

General tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Provide PeopleSoft Benefits Production support
  • Provide functional support and configuration expertise to the team for Oracle Cloud Benefits module.
  • Involved in all testing phases and issue resolution for the project
  • Knowledge of ORACLE Cloud is a must with at least 3 implementations on the Benefits module
  • Partner with HRSS personnel to support business operations and satisfy user inquiries, resolve issues and support applications.
  • Collaborate with peers and customers to deliver solutions
  • Work with other EITS teams during downtimes, SQL server updates, Epic upgrades

 

Technical:

  • Own the functional requirements link between the customer, development team and any third party regarding software functionality, throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Collecting, understanding, and transmitting the business requirements for the project, and translating these into functional specifications and detailed test plans
  • Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Communicates needed changes to development team.
  • Possesses understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design.

Project Execution:

  • Assists in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules.
  • Communicates and applies project standards.
  • Manages resources in accordance with project schedule.
  • Weekly reports to be produced for the project manager showing progress against outstanding milestones, status, resource requirements, issues, risks and dependencies.
  • Day to day management of change requests in relation to the project plans to ensure agreed deadlines are met.

Communication:

  • Facilitates the scheduling and arrangement of meetings and workshops necessary to keep the project moving along.
  • Delivers informative, well-organized presentations.
  • Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.

Analysis:

  • Analyze and document business processes.
  • Document workflows and results of business analysis and obtain sign-off from client on the specifications
  • Five (5) years of progressive, responsible experience in the field of data processing, computer systems, and applications.
  • Operations Specialty requires supervisory experience (5 years).
  • Network Services requires a telecommunications background and experience.
