Job Summary: The Oracle L1.5 Support Engineer will provide intermediate-level support for Oracle databases assisting with routine maintenance troubleshooting and performance tuning. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to support our database infrastructure effectively.

Key Responsibilities: -
Monitoring and Maintenance: - Monitor database performance and perform regular health checks. - Assist in the maintenance of database systems to ensure high availability and reliability. - Perform routine backup and recovery tasks. Troubleshooting: - Respond to and resolve database-related incidents and service requests within SLAs. - Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting issues related to database performance connectivity and replication. - Collaborate with Level 2 and Level 3 support for escalated issues. Database Management: - Assist in the management of Oracle databases including installation configuration and upgrades. - Apply patches and perform version upgrades under the supervision of senior DBAs. - Support the deployment of database changes and manage schema changes. Documentation and Reporting: - Maintain accurate documentation of database configurations procedures and troubleshooting steps. - Generate and analyze reports on database performance and incidents.

Required Qualifications: Education: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field. Experience: - 1-3 years of experience in Oracle database administration or related roles.

Technical Skills: - Proficiency in Oracle Database 11g/12c/19c. - Basic understanding of SQL and PL/SQL. - Familiarity with Oracle RAC ASM and Data Guard. - Knowledge of database backup and recovery concepts. - Basic understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems.. Soft Skills: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment. - Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications: - Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) or Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification. - Experience with monitoring tools such as Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM). - Familiarity with ITIL processes and methodologies
