Plan, design, and execute data conversion strategies for Oracle EBS R12 and Oracle SCM Cloud.
Develop and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for accurate and efficient data migration.
Ensure data integrity and compliance with organizational standards.
Collaborate with functional teams and stakeholders to gather data requirements.
Map data from legacy systems to Oracle SCM Cloud structures.
Develop data mapping documents, transformation logic, and validation plans.
Build and execute data extraction scripts using SQL, PL/SQL, and other tools.
Handle bulk data uploads using Oracle-specific tools such as FBDI (File-Based Data Import) and ADFDI (Application Development Framework Desktop Integration).
Perform troubleshooting and provide support for data conversion issues.
Conduct thorough data validation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Support functional teams during system testing, including integration and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Maintain comprehensive documentation for data conversion processes, logs, and error resolutions.
Provide status updates and reports on migration progress to stakeholders.
Work closely with Oracle SCM functional consultants to ensure seamless integration.
Provide technical guidance and best practices for data migration and system go-live.
Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience with data conversion in Oracle EBS R12 and Oracle SCM Cloud.
Hands-on expertise in ETL tools, SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle database technologies.
Proficiency in Oracle SCM Cloud data migration using FBDI, ADFDI, and REST/SOAP APIs.
Strong understanding of Oracle SCM modules such as Inventory, Procurement, Order Management, and Supply Chain Planning.
Experience with SCM-related data objects and configurations.
Successful execution of at least 2-3 large-scale data conversion projects in Oracle SCM environments.
Experience in handling large datasets and complex transformations.
