Job Description:

We are hiring an experienced Oracle Financials Consultant with deep expertise in General Ledger (GL) for a remote opportunity with one of our clients. The ideal candidate should have a strong functional and technical understanding of Oracle Financials, particularly in GL configurations, workflows, and integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Oracle GL modules

Perform business analysis and gather requirements related to financial processes

Manage month-end and year-end closing processes

Work closely with accounting and finance teams to streamline processes

Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data integrity

Prepare documentation and deliver training to end-users as needed

Required Skills & Experience:

7+ years of experience in Oracle Financials, with a strong focus on General Ledger (GL)

Hands-on experience with GL setups, journal entries, allocations, and reporting

Knowledge of integrations with other Oracle modules (AP, AR, FA, etc.)

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

Experience with R12 or Cloud versions of Oracle Financials is a plus

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
