We are seeking an experienced Oracle Finance Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Oracle Financials applications (Oracle EBS or Oracle Cloud) and be capable of providing functional consulting services for implementations, support, and upgrades. This role requires strong knowledge of finance business processes, such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oracle Financials Implementation: Lead and assist in the implementation of Oracle Financials solutions (Oracle EBS or Oracle Cloud), focusing on modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management (CM).
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with clients to gather functional requirements, analyze business needs, and design solutions that align with best practices.
- Configuration & Setup: Configure Oracle Finance modules based on business requirements, including setting up Chart of Accounts, Accounting Rules, Taxation, and other finance-related configurations.
- System Integration: Work closely with technical teams to ensure seamless integration between Oracle Finance modules and other applications (e.g., HRMS, Procurement, Inventory).
- Testing & Training: Lead user acceptance testing (UAT), provide training to end-users, and develop training materials as needed.
- Support & Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Oracle Finance applications, including troubleshooting issues and applying necessary patches.
- Process Optimization: Recommend and implement process improvements and ensure that Oracle Financials systems comply with best practices, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Documentation: Prepare functional documentation, including business process flows, configuration guides, and user manuals.
- Client Interaction: Maintain effective communication with clients, providing clear updates on project status, risks, and timelines.
Key Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: 8+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Financials (EBS or Oracle Cloud) with a focus on functional modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM).
- Certifications: Oracle Financials certification (e.g., Oracle Financials Cloud Certification or Oracle EBS certification) is a plus.
- Functional Expertise: Strong knowledge of financial processes, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and financial control.
- Tools Knowledge: Experience with Oracle EBS or Oracle Cloud, including relevant reporting and inquiry tools (e.g., BI Publisher, OTBI).
- Business Acumen: Deep understanding of finance and accounting principles, and the ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
