Responsibilities
Lead the support of Oracle Cloud ERP solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
Provide hands-on support during the implementation phase, troubleshooting issues, performing testing, and ensuring a smooth transition to the Oracle Cloud environment.
Assist in the migration of on-premise systems to Oracle Cloud, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to business operations.
Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide customized Oracle Cloud ERP solutions using modules such as GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Expenses, Tax.
Perform technical assessments and cloud readiness assessments, providing recommendations for improvements and cloud strategy planning.
Optimize cloud environments, focusing on performance, security, and cost-efficiency, while ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Assist clients with the configuration of Oracle Cloud ERP services, ensuring that best practices for deployment and configuration are followed.
Train and mentor clients' teams to ensure they are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to manage Oracle Cloud environments effectively.
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Oracle Cloud technologies, continuously evaluating and integrating new features and functionalities to improve the client’s cloud infrastructure.
Qualifications
Deep Financials Cloud Module Expertise & Technical Troubleshooting: Possess deep technical expertise in 2+ Oracle Financials Cloud modules (e.g., GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Expenses, Tax), proficiently troubleshooting via setups, FBDI, APIs, and logs. Demonstrate skill in resolving complex configuration, accounting engine (SLA), reporting (FRS, OTBI), and integration issues using diagnostic tools.
Financials Cloud Solution Design & Optimization (Support Focus): Design and implement technical solutions/workarounds for Financials Cloud support issues (e.g., accounting errors, period close problems, reporting needs), managing Oracle SRs effectively. Optimize Financials Cloud configurations for process efficiency (e.g., period close, payments), security (SOD), reporting performance, and regulatory compliance.
Technical Support in Financials Projects & Upgrades: Provide critical hands-on technical support during Financials Cloud implementations, migrations, and upgrades, troubleshooting configuration (e.g., SLA, Tax, Banking) and integration errors. Ensure technical stability through financial data validation (FBDI, reconciliations), testing support (SIT/UAT financial cycles), and effective cutover management.
Financials Cloud Technical Advisory & Documentation: Excel in technical communication, translating complex Financials Cloud issues (e.g., accounting discrepancies, reconciliation variances) for diverse audiences across multiple client engagements. Create comprehensive technical documentation, including solution designs, configuration rationale, and financial process troubleshooting guides.
Proactive Financials Cloud Issue Resolution & Knowledge Advancement: Proactively diagnose and independently resolve complex Financials Cloud technical challenges, monitoring system integrity and key financial processes (e.g., close, reporting). Stay current with Oracle Financials Cloud quarterly updates and new features (e.g., reporting tools, AI, regulatory changes), evaluating their applicability for client environment improvements and compliance.
