Job Title: ERP Presales Consultant

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ERP Presales Consultant with a minimum of 5 years of experience in ERP solutions presales to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ERP systems, exceptional communication and presentation skills, and a proven track record in working with sales teams to deliver compelling solutions to prospective clients. This role will involve engaging with clients to understand their business needs and demonstrate how ERP solutions can address their challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

Presales Support and Solution Demonstration:

  • Work closely with the sales team to identify customer needs and recommend ERP solutions that meet their business requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver product demonstrations, presentations, and proof-of-concept (POC) scenarios tailored to the client's needs.
  • Showcase the capabilities and value of ERP solutions (such as Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) to potential customers.

Requirement Gathering and Analysis:

  • Engage with prospective clients to gather business requirements, understand their ERP needs, and develop a solution roadmap.
  • Perform gap analysis between client requirements and existing ERP capabilities, and develop tailored solutions that address the identified gaps.
  • Conduct workshops and discovery sessions with clients to fully understand their processes, challenges, and goals.

Proposal and RFP/RFI Responses:

  • Assist in preparing and responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) by providing detailed ERP solution descriptions, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure that proposals align with client expectations and address their key business requirements.

Solution Design and Configuration:

  • Design and configure ERP solutions for client demonstrations, ensuring the solution meets client requirements and showcases relevant features.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the feasibility and scalability of proposed ERP solutions.
  • Develop solution architectures and configurations that can be easily customized for individual clients.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their business needs and acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Provide expert advice to clients on ERP best practices, industry standards, and potential improvements to business processes.
  • Engage with stakeholders at various levels of the client's organization, including C-suite executives, to build confidence in the proposed ERP solution.

Market and Product Expertise:

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, ERP product developments, and market requirements to ensure that presales activities are aligned with market needs.
  • Share feedback and insights with product development and marketing teams to help improve the solution offerings and positioning.

Sales and Technical Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the sales team to strategize and develop effective sales tactics for converting leads into opportunities and driving sales growth.
  • Collaborate with technical consultants, solution architects, and other internal teams to ensure the delivery of effective, customized ERP solutions.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in ERP presales, with a deep understanding of ERP solutions (Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
  • Proven experience in engaging with clients, understanding their business challenges, and presenting ERP solutions to meet their needs.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical content to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in preparing RFP responses, solution documentation, and detailed ERP proposals.
  • Excellent presentation, demo, and POC skills, with the ability to showcase ERP systems effectively in a live environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform needs analysis and develop tailored ERP solutions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, technical, and delivery teams.
  • A solid understanding of various business processes, including finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and HR, as they relate to ERP solutions.
  • Experience in handling presales activities in complex ERP deals with both large enterprises and mid-market clients.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in specific ERP modules such as Financials, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, HR, and Project Management.
  • ERP certifications (e.g., Oracle ERP Cloud, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
  • Knowledge of business transformation initiatives and ERP project lifecycles.
  • Familiarity with modern ERP technologies like cloud-based solutions, AI, and machine learning within ERP.
