Oracle EPM Planning - Design and Development

Job Overview:

We are looking for an Oracle EPM Planning Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Planning solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Oracle EPM Planning, as well as proficiency in Excel and other EPM tools. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical and technical skills looking to contribute to the enhancement of financial planning and budgeting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy Oracle EPM Planning applications to meet business requirements.
• Work with business users to gather requirements and transform them into effective EPM solutions.
• Customize Oracle EPM Planning configurations including metadata, dimensions, and business rules.
• Develop and maintain Excel-based interfaces for data entry, reporting, and integration with Oracle EPM Planning.
• Design, implement, and test financial planning models, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of EPM Planning with other Oracle EPM products and third-party systems.
• Optimize EPM Planning applications to improve performance and usability.
• Provide technical expertise in Oracle EPM Planning solutions and offer guidance to users and stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle EPM Planning, reporting, and integration processes.
• Support deployment and post-deployment activities, ensuring a smooth transition to production.
• Document design specifications, configurations, and best practices for future reference.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Mandatory Skills:
  • Strong experience with Oracle EPM Planning (Hyperion Planning or similar).
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with other EPM tools such as Oracle Essbase, Oracle Financial Management, or Oracle Workforce Planning.
  • Understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes in a corporate setting.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud EPM solutions is a plus.
