Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Architect to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-grade Oracle EBS solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle EBS modules, integrations, and customizations, with hands-on experience in architecture, upgrades, and cloud migration strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of business processes across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and HR modules, ensuring alignment of technical solutions with organizational goals.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall architecture, design, and roadmap of Oracle EBS applications.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Oracle EBS solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership for EBS implementations, upgrades, and migrations (including Oracle Cloud).
  • Design and oversee EBS integrations with external systems using SOA, APIs, and middleware.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices, security standards, and performance tuning.
  • Lead customization strategy: extensions, personalization, and Oracle Application Framework (OAF) development.
  • Conduct fit-gap analysis and propose solutions that align with business and IT strategies.
  • Provide guidance on data migration, reporting, and analytics within Oracle EBS.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Oracle EBS Financials, SCM, Manufacturing, HRMS, and related modules.
  • Mentor development teams and ensure knowledge transfer and documentation.
  • Partner with DBA and Infrastructure teams for system performance, disaster recovery, and high availability.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 10+ years of IT experience with at least 7+ years in Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.x).
  • Strong expertise in EBS architecture, implementation, and integration.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Financials, SCM, Manufacturing, HRMS (at least 2+ major modules).
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms/Reports, Workflow, BI Publisher, OAF, and APEX.
  • Experience with integration tools (SOA, Oracle Integration Cloud, REST/SOAP APIs).
  • In-depth knowledge of performance tuning, system security, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in EBS upgrades, patches, and cloud migration strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive solution delivery.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Applications (Fusion) and hybrid EBS-Cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of Data Warehousing, Reporting, and Analytics tools (OBIEE, OTBI).
  • Oracle certifications in EBS or Cloud Applications.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, distribution, or services industries.

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
