Oracle Database Administrator

Datametrics Software Systems, Inc. in Piscataway, NJ seeks Oracle Database Administrator needed to perform the following job duties, Understanding of fundamentals of logical and physical database Design based on a business functions of the system. Performs Database Administration such as Loading Data, Manage security and Performance Tuning. Performs Capacity Planning, Backup and Recovery and Disaster Recovery Plans. Managing and installing of 12c CDB/non CDB Active Data Guard Performs Oracle Database Upgrades (Single node, Cluster database, ASM )Implement three to five nodes Oracle 11g/12c RAC on Solaris, using NFS and ASM File systems.Upgrade, Implement and manage Oracle11g/12c Active/Physical Stand by Data Guard. Manage Oracle Golden Gate databases. Clear understanding of Exadata features like Flash cache, Storage Index, HCC and IORM. Upgrading and managing oracle 12c OEM cloud control to 13c OEM Cloud Control. Extensive use with 12c OEM cloud control for monitoring, administration and performance tuning. Daily Monitoring Storage Space at Database and OS level. Routine operational support for business queries. Create and monitor scripts for efficient database monitoring and troubleshooting. Create and manage Oracle Application Profiles and users. Problem determination and resolution for supported application databases and maintenance utilities. Perform change management activities using standard change processes in support of application database related changes. Participated in the meetings with the Application Teams to discuss the detailed requirements. Environment: Oracle 12c Multitenant , Oracle EXADATA X2-2 HALF RACK 4,7/Oracle 11g, Red Hat Linux 5.8, OEM 12c, RAC, Oracle Advanced Security, Pluggable databases, Data guard including DG Broker setup, RMAN, Partitioning. Bachelor’s Degree Required in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering or Computer Information Systems
