The Database Administrator is responsible for the support and development of the server environment, troubleshoot performance issues, and proactively optimize for database performance
- Perform database administration tasks, including creating and configuring databases, administering policies, standards, replication, clustering and disaster recovery.
- Provide database development support. Develop database queries, triggers and stored procedures, including those of a complex nature.
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 5years’ experience in database administration and support
- Knowledge of various operating systems
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Superior troubleshooting skills
- Financial Services experience highly desired
Preferred skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
- 5+ years’ experience
