Oracle Consultant

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Consultant with a strong background in setting up Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for Oracle Data Guard. This role is part-time, requiring approximately 20 hours per week, and will focus on training and mentoring an internal employee, guiding them through a hands-on setup of OEM for Data Guard. The consultant will also conduct knowledge transfer sessions and prepare comprehensive documentation to ensure the internal team can utilize the tool proficiently moving forward.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the client's team to set up and configure Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for Oracle Data Guard.
• Train and mentor an internal team member, providing one-on-one guidance in the setup process.
• Conduct detailed knowledge transfer sessions with the team, ensuring accurate understanding and effective use of the tool.
• Develop and deliver clear, thorough documentation on the OEM setup process and utilization best practices.
• Act as a subject matter expert to address questions and resolve issues related to Oracle Data Guard and OEM functionality.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience as a Senior Oracle Consultant, specializing in Oracle Data Guard and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) setup and configuration.
• Proven ability to train and mentor team members, with a focus on knowledge transfer and skills development.
• Strong technical documentation skills to create accessible and thorough instructional materials.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex processes to non-experts.
• Availability to work part-time (20 hours per week) and flexibility to adapt to the client’s schedule and needs
