Skills/Experience
Hands on experience in designing, executing, and supporting IT cloud solutions.
Experience with database installation, upgrades, capacity planning, data migration, and performance monitoring across multiple database server architectures/systems
Experience in Database migration to Cloud
Experience migrating Oracle to PostgreSQL in HA deployments.
Experience migrating Oracle RAC/Exadata infrastructure to a public cloud environment
Hands on experience with managing compute components (CPU, Memory, Hard Disk) through virtualization in AWS Cloud
Experience with database performance tuning benchmark techniques, database sharding, table partitioning, horizontal/vertical scaling, user load, identification/measuring bottlenecks, system optimization
Experience with data storage systems
Hands-on experience as a platform engineer for Cloud platform
Hands-on experience with CI/CD methodology
Hands-on development experience for mobile and tablet platforms
Hands-on experience with Agile Development Methodologies (preferably Scrum)
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of cloud technology, including Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
