Manage and maintain Oracle Cloud resources, including compute instances, block storage, virtual cloud networks (VCN), and Oracle databases.
Assist with the deployment and configuration of Oracle Cloud services as per requirements.
Perform regular system updates and apply patches to maintain the security and stability of cloud environments.
Provide L2 support for cloud-related incidents, working on issues escalated from the L1 support team.
Troubleshoot performance, connectivity, and configuration issues in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and escalate more complex issues to the L3 team.
Monitor cloud infrastructure using OCI native tools and resolve alerts related to resource utilization, performance, and health.
Configure and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, users, and roles in Oracle Cloud.
Ensure proper access control and security policies are enforced on all Oracle Cloud resources.
Respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities by implementing required patches and updates.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of scripts (using Shell, Python, or Oracle Cloud Shell) to automate regular tasks such as backups, monitoring, and resource provisioning.
Perform basic automation of cloud services using Oracle Cloud Shell or Terraform under the guidance of senior administrators.
Ensure regular backups of Oracle Cloud services, particularly databases and critical applications, and verify data integrity.
Assist with disaster recovery drills and ensure proper documentation of recovery procedures.
