Role : Operations Technology Engineer (Remote)

Location: Remote 

Duration : 6 months  

Must Have : Electrical or Computer Engineer degree is MUST

Job Description:

Our client is looking for an Operations Technology Engineer to review, analyze, design, remediate their environment.

Responsibilities:

The overall objectives of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Architect and design of Control Systems that provide the appropriate functionality & control while also ensuring a Secure environment.

Maintain the environment & update as needed to ensure Security of sites.

Assist with integration of new sites.

Support US facilities as part of a larger team.

Qualifications:

Engineering Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.

At least 5 years of Operations Technology Engineering experience

3 years of IT experience

Strong understanding & experience with IT in an Industrial\Manufacturing environment that includes IoT based devices and equipment. Including a high level understanding of their proprietary\customized OS’s and integration into an Enterprise network.

Good knowledge of networking and datacenter technologies, switching (access & core), routing, wireless and high-availability using Cisco & Meraki components.

Experience with Palo Alto firewalls.

Good knowledge of networking technologies and WAN communications including TCP/IP (routing and subnetting), QoS, MPLS, IPSec, etc

Experience designing & executing Control Systems

Experience with OT monitoring systems
