OpenShift/Linux SAS Engineer

Linux Administrator
• Analyzing the existing process and perform POC for OpenShift onboarding
• Installs, configures, and upgrades Linux operating systems and applications
• Sets up and manages user accounts, permissions, and security policies
• Analyze storage performance metrics, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing adjustments for optimization
• Provisioning NFS storage, configuration and backup
• Proactively monitoring storage usage, planning for future capacity needs, and managing data lifecycle policies to ensure efficient storage utilization.
• Diagnosing and resolving issues related to network connectivity, and file system access.
• Implement, and maintain Kubernetes clusters in various environments
• Ensure cluster health, stability, and high availability.
• Manage Kubernetes resources, including nodes, pods, deployments, and services.
• Monitor cluster performance and troubleshoot issues
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot OpenShift environments.
• Maintaining detailed documentation of Isilon configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

 

Required skills for Linux Admin:-
• Expertise in Linux Administration
• Hands-on experience in Unix Shell Scripting
• Hands-on experience in OpenShift
• Experience on Storage (NFS, X3) provisioning configuration and backup
• Experience in Kubernetes
• Networking skills with troubleshooting experience

Qualification:- BACHELOR OF COMPUTER SCIENCE
