Job description:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer science or equivalent, with minimum 10+ Years of relevant experience.
• You should have a 5+ years of experience in designing and architecting enterprise container platforms, with 2+ years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF).
• Good Extensive experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration for Java applications.
• Must be Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and hybrid/multi-cloud strategies.
• Good Experience and Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
• Strong Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, etc.
• Must be Familiarity with cloud-native patterns, microservices, and application modernization strategies.
• Good Experience in Scripting languages like shell / Helm chats modules
• Strong Experience in ETL processing and Autosys
• You should Assess and understand the architecture, dependencies, and deployment configurations of existing applications running on Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF).
• Must Plan and execute the migration of applications from PCF to OpenShift, ensuring minimal disruption and maintaining application functionality.
• Implement the necessary configuration changes and deploy the migrated applications to OpenShift clusters, following best practices for container orchestration and management.
• Identify and resolve any issues that arise during and after migration, including deployment failures, container errors, and platform-specific problems in the OpenShift environment.
• Fine-tune applications and container settings for optimal performance, scalability, and efficient resource utilization in the OpenShift platform.
• Implement security best practices, including role-based access control (RBAC), secrets management, and compliance with corporate policies during and after the migration process.
• Work closely with development, DevOps, and operations teams to ensure smooth migration, provide clear documentation for the OpenShift environment, and offer support post-migration.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Ability to use strong industry knowledge to relate to customer needs and dissolve customer concerns and high level of focus and attention to detail.
