Open Apps Test Lead

Job Description:

• Minimum 10 to 14 years of relevant experience in manual, automation, and performance testing
• Thorough knowledge and experience in working with automation tools - OpenText UFT, Load Runner & Quality Center
• Experience in managing cross-functional testing team including functional, manual, automation, and Performance testers.
• Experience in planning, designing, and executing test automation strategies to ensure high-quality software products.
• Experience in using Junit, JMeter, Selenium, TestNG, Test Complete, or Mockito.
• Strong understanding of relational databases (Oracle, MySQL)
• Design and execute test plans and test cases.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Ensure software meets or exceeds standards and requirements.
• Manage and mentor the testing team.
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues.
• Communicate progress to senior leadership and participate in technical discussions.
• Ensure the appropriate test environments and infrastructures are in place.
• Manage the defect log and ensure problems are resolved.
• Proficiency in writing Sanity, SIT, regression, performance, and functional tests
• Owns/drives/coordinates testing across multiple testing phases, including System Integration Testing (SIT), Performance, and End-to-End
• Develops entrance/exit criteria for each testing phase.
• Provides requirements and guidance for test data and test environment needs, including providing testing environment setup requirements and migration plans.
• Coordinates team members in several functional units, leads and coordinates all testing within the testing program.
